Like Water

**SOLD OUT**
Three of Christchurch’s daughters of song – Julia Deans, Bella Kalolo and Flip Grater – join forces with Burnside High’s award-winning Bel Canto Choir for this spectacular event, curated and directed by Julia Deans.
Singing tales of love and loss, triumph and regret, departure and return, the trio will explore the spectrum of strength, vulnerability and what it means to be both a woman and a human.
Former Fur Patrol front woman, Julia Deans has cemented her place as one of Aotearoa’s most iconic singer-songwriters. Samoan, Tongan and Māori soul sister Bella Kalolo has worked with Mos Def, Dave Dobbyn, NZSO and Chaka Khan and author and musician Flip Grater has been a leading voice in New Zealand's indie scene for over 13 years.
Add Burnside High's prodigious Bel Canto Girls Choir (of which Bella and Julia are former members) and the stage is set for a nostalgic, inspiring and unforgettable evening.
This show is brought to you by Spark.
